CONSTITUTION UPDATE
The Constitution was put to Members for a yes / no vote at the Dogs SA AGM on 20th March 2024
Motion Lost
65 Members present with 48.75 (49) votes required to pass the motion
Lost on a secret ballot of 48 votes for and 17 votes against
There were 7 members that spoke on the night. It became evident the 2 points that need to be looked at are:-

Vice President - Members want to vote for the Vice President and does not want this decision to be up to the elected Council

Casual Vacancy - Members want to have a casual vacancy voted on by Members and not Council appointed (Casual vacancy can also be left until the next election)
These points will be reviewed by Council before it is re-presented to Members
